An initial 15-minute telehealth meeting or phone call is free (and encouraged!) to meet with me to ask questions or to get a feel for how we would work together.
After that, your cost for therapy is determined by your insurance company (I know - I, too, wish this had a straight answer!). You can upload your insurance into your client portal when you book to see what your co-pay (your cost) is. If you do not have or do not want to use insurance, the self-pay cost per session is $130. Sliding scale fees can be discussed based on income/ hardship and the therapist's availability. Yes! If you would like to use other insurance benefits, I can provide you with the guidance and documents needed to claim reimbursement from your insurance company. Many insurance plans include “out-of-network” benefits for therapy which can cover some of the cost. This will vary among insurance carriers and plans. Insurance is complicated, but I will make it as easy as possible. Payments are made through your client portal. You can pay by credit card or use your HSA (Health Savings Account). Please note that PayPal and Venmo are not HIPAA compliant, but if you may still use them for payment if you wish. |
